The Livestream Show

Is it possible to stream a show format that is just as high-quality and varied as the on location event? And also to reach an audience worldwide?

For its 75th anniversary, Porsche AG staged a live event in Zuffenhausen with the motto "Driven by Dreams. Around 800 selected journalists, media partners, brand ambassadors and friends of the Porsche brand were invited. As the event not only celebrated the brand, but also the world premiere of the Mission X, the event was to be broadcast on location as a separate show format worldwide, including China, as an entertaining livestream in all relevant corporate channels. 

No 1:1 broadcast of the live event, but the development of an own show format for the livestream. For this, among other things, the loosening up of the very word-heavy event parts by the on-site produced players was used. Furthermore, the integration of live shows with the guests of the event as well as the video messages of the international markets and friends of the brand provided for this. In order to reach other countries such as China, the complete stream was translated by simultaneous interpreters. In addition, there was a Chinese re-livestream, which was enthusiastically received. 

The stream ran on Porsche's website: www.porsche.newstv.com, on YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitch and reached a total of 5 million viewers worldwide.
