The Porsche 911 world premiere live on newsTV – the new video portal of Porsche
“We need a communication platform from which we can broadcast LIVE regularly – and show all the videos in a simple menu navigation”, was the customer briefing from the Porsche communications department.
Within four months only, this idea grew to a fascinating project and a model platform inside the VW Group. The task was to live broadcast the grand world premiere of the eighth generation Porsche 911 as an opening and lighthouse event on essentially one platform for all media.
Porsche newsTV was live just in time for the day of the premiere. The live stream and the website performed perfectly. The Porsche AG was happy about the enormous worldwide interest in the stream – especially because of our determined distribution within China where we were able to provide various social media connections and CDN capacities.
Since then, all current videos and live events can be retrieved on Porsche newsTV.

As additional confirmation of the success of the implementation, Porsche newsTV was honored as the winner of the Automotive Brand Contest 2019 in the category "Digital".
